We supply and fit modern unvented cylinders or more conventional type vented cylinders for the domestic environment. Vented cylinders (Hot water tanks) can be supplied in a wide variety of types and sizes. This type of cylinders are not sealed from the atmosphere and usually more common in a conventional domestic plumbing system. This type of cylinder is normally not capable of withstanding high water pressures (greater than 1bar or greater than about 10 meters head of water). However such cylinders may be more suitable to situations where a dwelling has a more traditional heating source such a back boiler or solid fuel stove heater. Such forms of heat sources do not have a boiler interlock control mechanism and are therefore not suitable for pressurized unvented cylinder systems. In situations where space is a premium requirement for a dwelling Vented Cylinders also come in the form of Combi cylinder which had the advantage of both incorporating the header tank and hot water cylinder in a single Combi Cylinder unit. This can useful in a location such a apartment or a flat where there is no upstairs area to place a cold water storage cistern.
